Long Term Foster - Skye

Skye is a lovely 10 year old springer who came to us due to a change in her original families circumstances.

During her time in foster, she developed symptoms of heart problems and some mammillary tumours were found during her routine vet check. Following treatment and surgery, fully funded by SRS with her top class aftercare from her foster family, she was transferred to the care of one of our experienced long term fosterer families who has continued with her care regime supported by her local veterinary practice.

As you can see by her pictures, she is doing very well! Above all she is loved, supported and remains in a safe compassionate home throughout the ups and downs of her treatment for as long as she needs.

Skye has developed a very close bond with her long term fosterer who knows her well, she is aware every day how to make Skye happy, content and full of the irrepressible springer joy that we all know and love, I’m sure Skye would describe her as her own personal superhero. Could you be a superhero to a dog like Skye too?
