Pathhead Tartan Doggy Day
Join us for Tartan Doggy Day—a one-of-a-kind celebration of our four-legged friends! It’s set to be a fun-filled day bursting with activities, demonstrations, and plenty of chances for you and your dog to get involved.
Pathhead Farm Dog Park is a central secure dog park with 6ft fences, onsite café and amenities, set in a picturesque yard with views over Kirriemuir and the surrounding Angus countryside.
Allow your dogs to run free, in the security of having the park to yourself. Whether you have a dog with poor recall, a reactive dog or just enjoy your own space, the dog park has something for everyone.
There are giant tyres, a tunnel, a sandpit, and for the humans there is a picnic bench so you can have a seat, take in the views and have somewhere to pop your drinks and snacks. There is also a shelter, with dog friendly seating provided.

Edinburgh Marathon
SRS Supporter El is running her first ever marathon and is raising money for SRS in memory of her much missed companion, Alfie.
On 13/12/24, we very sadly lost our Springer Spaniel, Alfie, at age 11 and a half. Losing our little boy has been heartbreaking and not a day goes by without thinking of him and wishing he was still here with us.
Like all Springer Spaniels, Alfie had a crazy amount of energy and a crazy amount of love for each of us. He was my greatest comfort for the past 11 years - whether that involved taking him on (very) long walks to tire him out, playing with him, wrestling with him or simply sitting getting a cuddle from him, he will always be my best boy and I'll miss him always.
Springer Spaniels are known for being energetic, loyal and affectionate dogs and the charity Springer Rescue Scotland is a Scottish based charity that rescues and re-homes Spaniels across Scotland.
On the 25th May 2025, i am running my first ever marathon (!) and want to help this lovely charity and raise money for them. By donating, this will directly impact the lives of Springers and help in the rescuing and re-homing process.
£10 can buy leads and collars and £400 can cover the complete cost of re-homing/rescuing one of these lovely pooches.
Please help out this wonderful cause and send good vibes only for my legs and hips!
