A little bit about Mylo: Mylo is a young cheeky chap who loves his zoomies. He does follow you everywhere in the house as he likes to know where you are. He likes nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa and getting belly rubs. He loves everyone and everything, he gets excited when meeting people/ other dogs and whines with excitement.
Home Life: Mylo is house trained. He has been left for short periods but with the resident dog, he whines a little when first left. He does sleep in his bed at the side of my bed but manages to be on the bed in the morning. Mylo loves his walks, he does pull on the lead especially when he sees another person or animal as he loves to meet everyone
Mylo has got on great with all dogs he has met regardless of their size. We have seen deer on our walks and he wasn’t phased by them. He seems to be ok seeing cats but still unsure how he would react closely. Mylo just loves attention from everyone.
Mylo will still require ongoing lead training as he does pull on the lead.
Visiting the vet: Mylo has had his routine healthcheck and is fit and well. He has been recently neutered. His vaccinations are up to date. He was very well behaved at the vet.
Behavioural issues: None, just an excitable little chap.
Home needs: Although he is a friendly wee dog, due to the zoomies and Mylo being very excitable, it would be better if his new home didn’t have really young children, he’d potentially knock them over. He would like a new home with his people around most of the time, a nice secure garden and lots of interesting walking opportunities. He will make a lovely family pet.
Ongoing support: Springer Rescue for Scotland will be available for any support with your new dog and can offer behavioural support in case of any problems that may arise on adopting a dog.
Please do not express interest in Mylo if you are going on holiday in the next 6-8 weeks.
