Mungo is a big boy but very affectionate. He is good with children aged 6+, and with the resident dogs in his foster home. He enjoys his walks and although he does pull on lead he has good recall and is enjoying off lead runs with his foster family. Although he is a large Springer he loves his cuddles and has very good manners. Mungo will make an excellent companion and would enjoy living with another female dog in a home where someone is around most of the time.

Max is a lovely boy with a big heart !! He is a friendly and affectionate lad who loves everyone. Like most Springers Max is quite strong on the lead and will need further work on his recall. He will make a wonderful addition to most homes but although he is a very loving dog he may be too bouncy for very young children. He is currently in foster with other dogs but would be just as happy to be the only dog in the household so he can have all the cuddles.

Millie is a happy, energetic, loving and playful young girl with a lovely temperament. She knows some basic commands, has good recall and walks well with a harness. She is responding well to further training. Millie happily greets people and dogs when out walking, however, as she is a little nervous of new situations, objects and noises she will require some socialisation and confidence building. Millie is best suited to an experienced home with no young children.

Scooby, although relatively young, is a very laid back and easy-going dog in the house. He is currently in foster care with a female dog and is great with the dogs he has met when out walking. He has also lived with, and is currently in foster care, with children who he adores and is very gentle with. Scooby understands some basic commands and is happy to give a paw and will sit really well to gently take any treats on offer. Scooby walks well on a lead with his harness and is always keen to go out for a walk. Scooby’s only vice seems to be that he cannot be rehomed near deer or livestock. Scooby would be most suited to a busy, active home in a semi-rural area where there is someone there most of the time.

Seth is a big, handsome, affectionate Springer who loves company. He is in great shape physically and would thrive in an active home. Seth does know basic commands, is crate trained, travels well in the car, and gets on well with other dogs. He does pull on the lead and his recall is poor so he would benefit from some additional training. Although Seth is very friendly he would be better in a home with older children as he may prove to be a bit big and bouncy for toddlers. Seth cannot be rehomed around chickens or livestock as he will chase.

Ben is an easy going older boy who is well behaved in the house and very seldom barks. He loves going out for walks and prefers an extendable lead. We were told that he has good recall but this is proving to need a little work with all the exciting smells he has found in his foster home. Travels well in the car and would like to travel sitting on the front seat if allowed!!! Good with cats and children, he is a lovely friendly boy who is still active and would love a new family to cuddle up to. Ben will have to be neutered before going to his new home.

Sam is an extremely friendly and affectionate Springer who loves company and cuddles. He is excellent with other dogs and children but would chase cats. He gets very excited when going for his walks and will pull on the lead but walks very well on the way home after a good run. Sam loves to play with balls and toys and has good recall when he is enjoying a game of “fetch”. He is also happy to be bathed and groomed. Sam likes company and would be best in a family who are around for most of the day and would enjoy having another dog around to play with.

Penny is a lovely, 18 month old, small type Springer. She is quite shy on first meeting new people but bonds quickly. She is currently in foster with other dogs and children and is fine with them all. She is quiet and well behaved in the home and settles well overnight. Penny will need further training on the lead as she does tend to pull but is responsive to training, she is a busy dog off lead and her recall needs some work although she does like to keep you in sight and will respond better if there is a ball on the go! She is a very affectionate dog who will make a loyal addition to a family.
